Core Beliefs at the Root of this Teacher Training Resource:
The Bible is the written inerrant Word of God given by verbal plenary inspiration. Nothing is to be added or subtracted from the canon of 66 books, and it is as such the supreme and final authority.
Mankind had its origin in Adam and Eve who were created by God in His image and likeness. Man was initially in perfect fellowship with God but through disobedience became separated from Him and totally depraved. Adam's sin was charged to all his descendants so that not only do they sin experientially but they are born with a sin nature and stand in need of a Redeemer.
The answer to man's need for salvation is found in Jesus Christ who became man's substitutionary atonement on the cross. Only by God's grace, manifested in Christ's death, can a person be saved from sin and brought into fellowship with God as it is accompanied by faith in the finished work of Calvary.
