The Christian life is meant to be shared. Not only are we to be salt and light in this world but we’re to be God’s ambassadors, witnesses, and proclaimers of the Good News. Yet many Christians, probably even many sitting in our Bible classes, don’t reach out. What will it take for believers to engage in outreach, to reach out with the Gospel message?<\/p>\n
Yes, we are commanded to be witnesses (Acts 1:8). Jesus commissioned His followers<\/a> to “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19-20). While obedience to our gracious and merciful Lord should be enough to get believers involved in outreach, we still find many without a bent toward reaching out.
