<\/a>Here are three messages people need to hear right know that give Bible teachers opportunity to teach about God’s character:<\/p>\n1) God cares.<\/p>\n
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (1 Pet. 5:7)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Also:<\/strong><\/em> Matthew 6:25-34; 10:28-31<\/p>\n
What this teaches:<\/strong><\/em> God is love. (1 Jn. 4:16)<\/p>\n
2) God is aware.<\/p>\n
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (Heb. 4:13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Also:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Psalm 139:1-18<\/p>\n
What this teaches:<\/strong><\/em> God sees and knows all. (Prov. 15:3; Rom. 11:33)<\/p>\n
3) God is enough.<\/p>\n
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. (2 Cor. 12:9)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Also:<\/strong><\/em> Psalm 34:8-10; 46:1-3<\/p>\n
What this teaches:<\/strong><\/em> God is all-powerful yet full of grace and mercy. (Phil. 4:19)<\/p>\n
How Bible Teachers can Share these Messages<\/h2>\n
If teaching in a classroom or small group setting digitally or in-person, weave these truths throughout the lesson. Don’t just communicate Bibles stories but get to the God behind the story<\/a>. You can look at any passage in the Word and ask, “What does this teach us about God?<\/p>\n
If not formally teaching in a classroom setting, you can still teach these truths through a variety of means.<\/p>\n
\n
- Incorporate them into e-mails, texts, social media posts, etc..<\/li>\n
- Send a series of three postcards or note cards through the postal service, maybe one a week, each containing one of the above messages.<\/li>\n
