Christ-like Attitudes Begin with a Humble Heart<\/h2>\n

As God Himself, Jesus could have come to reign control over people’s lives as the Sovereign One. Rather He came as a Servant exercising humility and grace to be our Savior.

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross! (Phil. 2:5-8)<\/em><\/p>\n

Servant Teachers Need the Same Attitude as Christ<\/h2>\n

Our position as Bible teachers does not make us superior to our students. As Jesus told His disciples, \u201cThe greatest among you will be your servant.\u201d (Matt. 23:11-12), so position does not bring entitlement.<\/p>\n
