{"id":1337,"date":"2011-08-26T08:00:57","date_gmt":"2011-08-26T12:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/trainbibleteachers.com\/blog\/?p=1337"},"modified":"2026-03-20T09:48:24","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T13:48:24","slug":"prayer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trainbibleteachers.com\/blog\/prayer.htm","title":{"rendered":"Critical Nature of Prayer in Teaching"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-17227 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/trainbibleteachers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/all-things-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Believe You Can Do All Things Through Christ and You Will Pray\" width=\"300\" height=\"215\" \/>Do you really believe Jesus&#8217; words in <span class=\"class2\">John 15:5?<\/span> &#8212; &#8220;Apart from me you can do nothing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As a branch draws its sustenance, or strength, from the vine in order to bear fruit, so do we find our ability to not only survive but thrive in the Lord.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">As Paul noted in <span class=\"class2\">Philippians 4:13,<\/span> &#8220;I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.&#8221;\u00a0If we truly believe this, we will understand how critical prayer is to teaching.<\/p>\n<h2>What We Do in Prayer That Makes It So Critical<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 10px;\"><span class=\"class2\">We acknowledge Him as the source of any good we can do for eternity in the lives of students.
