\nDiscussion Method can be a good starting point for the fulfillment of some of the one another commands of Scripture. A method, however, is only as effective as its successful implementation. Having a good curriculum helps but we can’t rely on it to produce good discussions. How great of a method discussion is may depend on the way we use it and how well we adapt it to fit our particular group of students.<\/p>\n
Here are four ways to improve in the use of discussion.<\/p>\n
1) Facilitate discussion to maximize participation.<\/p>\n
We need to help those group members who are passive, belittlers, monopolizers, or distracters so everyone can feel their contribution is valuable. Teachers need to take it to the next level by asking clarifying questions.
