While there&#8217;s a big difference between a primary age child and a pre-teen, one reality holds true for both of them. They all need to be actively engaged in Bible learning.<\/p>\n<h2>Importance of Engaging Grade School Children in Accordance with their Age Level Abilities<\/h2>\n<p>Here are two reasons we need to constantly engage grade school students:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If not engaged in the lesson, students will likely be engaged in something else which usually spells trouble.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If the activity is not in keeping with their age developmental characteristics, students could get frustrated or bored which can lead to discipline problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mintools-store.com\/products\/age-grade-school\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-16117 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/trainbibleteachers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/grade-school-mod-samples.jpg\" alt=\"Grade School Age Level Characteristics\" width=\"251\" height=\"245\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/mintools-store.com\/products\/age-grade-school\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Age Level Characteristics: Grade School Module<\/a>, available through the Ministry Tools Resource Center store, includes handouts on age developmental characteristics of grade school children as well as a couple of articles about them.
