As Bible teachers we need to learn how to prepare and present an effective lesson. We need to skillfully use methods and visuals. But, what about those moments that aren’t in the lesson plan before or after class, during transitions, in discipline situations, or while students work on projects? Are we making even those moments count? Are we using those informal times, as well as formal instruction, to guide students’ attention onto God? — That’s called Guided Conversation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Actively Look for Opportunities to Use Guided Conversation<\/h2>\n

We can’t merely coast through our lessons and expect to make every moment count. When we actively look for opportunities to direct students’ thoughts to God and His Word, we’ll find them.<\/span><\/p>\n
