But, <a href=\"https:\/\/trainbibleteachers.com\/blog\/motivating-students.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">do they want to learn<\/a>? How can you help motivate them to learn?\u00a0The Bible teachers&#8217; role isn&#8217;t so much to motivate students\u00a0but rather to unlock the motivation within them. You need the right keys to do so.<\/p>\n<h2>Keys to Motivating People to Learn<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5924 aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0;\" src=\"\/\/trainbibleteachers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/motivation-key.jpg\" alt=\"Key to Motivation\" width=\"125\" height=\"52\" \/><\/p>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 25px;\">\n<li><strong>Attentiveness<\/strong> &#8211; You pay attention to their needs.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Activity<\/strong> &#8211; You structure so they are involved in the learning process.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Affirmation<\/strong> &#8211; You let them know how much your value them and that you are there for them.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Affiliation<\/strong> &#8211; You focus on the relational aspect of learning both with you and with the class as a group.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assimilation<\/strong> &#8211; You help them see how truth and life intersect.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Accomplishment<\/strong> &#8211; You encourage them to do something with what they learn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students of all ages will do better when the learning process includes all of the above. But, each of these keys is particularly critical to unlocking motivation at a certain stage of life.
