God's Message Flows Through Bible Teachers as Conduits
As we look at 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, we see that a Bible teacher’s role is like a conduit, a channel through which God’s power flows. Notice how, in order for God’s power to flow, teachers need the right message.

My message and my preaching were not with wise … words … so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power. (1 Cor. 2:4-5)

Power Comes Through God’s Message Flowing Through Us Not Human Wisdom

God makes it clear that it’s through the power of His Word that people get saved (Rom. 10:17), that they’re sanctified (Jn.17:17), and that they become thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Tim. 3:16-17). It only makes sense for Scripture to be so powerful and purposeful when you consider that its Author is the Almighty, All-Knowing, All-Wise God, the Maker of the heavens and earth.

All Scripture is God-breathed …” (2 Tim. 3:16) — “… no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Pet. 1:20-21) — “The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic.” (Ps. 29:4)
