Books and websites exist that provide ideas. If unable to find an idea that adequately fits the lesson objective, you may need to stretch yourself in terms of creativity. Think of objects from students’ everyday lives that could be used. Brainstorm different types of objects that could possibly be used to represent that truth and then choose the best one. If you must over-explain how the object represents the truth, it may be best not to use it. As with anything in teaching, ask God for wisdom in how to best teach His truth.
