In a previous post we looked at the big picture Bible teachers need about God’s laws. Out of that perspective, the following tips for teaching about God’s laws become obvious. If you did not yet read that post, it would be good to read it first. Bible teachers need to understand God’s heart in providing His law so they can help students grab His intent.
Follow These Tips for Teaching about God’s Laws

Teach the Ten Commandments and other laws of God but be sure to keep that teaching within context of the big picture perspective of God’s laws.
1) Emphasize the pragmatic value in obeying God’s commands.
2) Use the law to point people to their need of a Savior.
3) Focus on the real purpose in obeying God’s laws … to show love for God.
4) Understand that by nature we are a rebellious people. Don’t give up on people but rather, fervently pray for them.
