Whether it’s staff meetings, teacher training sessions, or time teachers spend in class with their students, pray for a sense of God’s presence in that meeting time — that it’s not just another meeting to attend. To know God is with us is to experience His power and love in ways words alone can never convey.
Pray for Teachers and Students as They Gather in His Name
The M in May can remind us to pray for Meeting times, as suggested in the Praying for Bible Teachers Throughout the Year Guide. Following are four of the thirty-one prayer points in the guide for May.
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. (Matt. 18:20)
- Pray that God’s power is sensed when teachers meet for training and planning.
- Pray that God’s power is sensed when classes meet to focus on God and His Word.
- Pray that God’s love is experienced when teachers meet for training and planning.
- Pray that God’s love is demonstrated when students meet to learn about Him.
