3 Things Gradeschoolers Need to DO

Gradeschoolers

If grade school students are going to be the salt and light God calls them to be among their peer and in the schools, they need to know the kind of God they have and believe in their heart that He is sufficient for their every need.

What Do Christian Gradeschoolers Need to Do?

When they do, they will be better positioned to live like them belong to Him.  Here are three things they will find themselves doing:

1)  Stand on the side of truth.

… They will dare to be a Daniel (Dan. 6).

2)  Sit at the feet of the Lord.

… They will develop a heart like David  (1 Kings 9:4; 11:4; Psalms).

3)  Soar above the pressures.

… They will depend on God’s strength like the Apostle Paul (Phil. 4:13).

Students will not tend to “do” these things unless they “know” and “feel” they have the kind of God who is worth their devotion.

While application of truth is God’s intent, make sure it has a good basis or foundation so it is more likely to happen and is not mere external conformity.
