Teaching about Healthy Relationships

Healthy Relationships Have the Mindset of Christ

When teaching about relationships we should help people learn to relate with one another in healthy, godly ways. The best relationships align with God’s design for us. Dysfunctional relationships come when we step out of God’s boundaries.

Traits Needed to Relate in Ways that Lead to Healthy Relationships

Bible teachers who desire to disciple their students toward healthy relationships should emphasize the traits God put in place as guideposts and safeguards.  Help people learn to build relationships on the right foundation.

You can use the acrostic in the Sowing Good into Our Lives resource as a tool to disciple students on traits foundational to healthy relationships.

Since our relationships can greatly impact our lives, Bible teachers would do well to help their students understand the benefits of building relationships on the biblical foundation of these traits.
