Every lesson plan should come with its own goals for that particular session. But, beyond that teachers who communicate God’s truth should aim for more, — a broad objective that serves as an umbrella under which everything they do comes.
If Bible teachers isolate every lesson as an entity of its own without looking at the big picture, they might accomplish something specific but may do little to help students more fully develop into the person God desires them to be.
