Students constantly face crossroads in life, needing to make decisions or choose a moral direction in the moment.  By using Role Playing as a teaching method, students are able to practice how they or someone else would act or react in different problem situations applying Biblical principles learned in a lesson.  This is important because not all situations in life are easily solved with a simple act of obedience to a specific command of God but there are principles to guide them.

In the process they could also learn, in a safe environment, that:
  • other people don’t always think or act like them
  • their choices, actions, and reactions have consequences

Do your Bible teachers know the value of role playing and how to effectively use it as a Bible teaching method?
