What better way to encourage and train Bible teachers than to use the Word of God. Scripture can and should be used in teacher training.
Ways to Use Bible Verses with Teachers
With God as its author (2 Tim. 3:16-17), the Bible provides a reliable source to guide the way we teach. The Bible itself shows us how to correctly handle the Word of Truth in ways approved by God (2 Tim. 2:15). We can also send teachers relevant Bible verses through text or e-mail. They could be posted on a social media platform designed for our teachers. We could even send verses by snail mail in a note card. Along with verses sent through any of these means, we might pose a question or add a word of encouragement.
Also consider providing devotionals revolving around Scripture related to teaching. Teachers can then meditate on God’s intent and perspective.
