While prayer is not actual training, it is a tool to becoming better teachers.
How Prayer Support Helps with Teacher Training
Including prayer as a vital component of the teacher training process will provide teachers with the following:
- Partnership with fellow believers in their teaching that brings added support
- Recognition that they are not alone in the classroom, that God is there to help them
- Assurance that their efforts will not be in vain because God is in it
- Yearning to do better knowing that this kind of prayer investment is being made on their behalf
- Encouragement knowing people are standing behind them in prayer
- Resources that are supernatural by asking for God’s power and wisdom so not dependent on human wisdom or skill
Do make sure to incorporate prayer into the equipping process!
